Ten fights are set for the July 3 UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin event coming to Las Vegas, Nev., as the organization confirmed a few more of the bouts for the evening's card on their main site today. The five fight main card features bouts from all of the UFC's weight classes, headlined by the Heavyweight Championship unification bout between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin. Check out the updated lineup for the UFC's biggest event of the year below:
Main Pay-Per-View Card
•Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin
•Wanderlei Silva vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama
•Chris Lytle vs. Matt Brown
•Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Stephan Bonnar
•George Sotiropoulos vs. Kurt Pellegrino
Preliminary Card
•Brendan Schaub vs. Chris Tuchscherer
•Goran Reljic vs. Kendall Grove
•Paul Kelly vs. Jacob Volkmann
•Daniel Roberts vs. Julio Paulino
•Jon Madsen vs. Karlos Vemola
Penick's Analysis: This pay-per-view event is going to be massive. The main event is more than worth the price of admission for UFC fans everywhere, but the rest of the main card is stacked with fights that are all but guaranteed to be fantastic matchups. From the Sotiropolous-Pellegrino opener up to the Silva-Akiyama co-main event, this is a great pay-per-view card. The prelim action is stellar as well, and if the UFC runs prelims on Spike I'd expect to see the Schaub-Tuchscherer and Reljic-Grove bouts being tapped for that broadcast.

The headlining bout between Phil Davis and Rashad Evans averaged 6.1 million viewers, meaning the peak number for the event will still come in somewhat higher than that. The opening bout between Demian Maia and Chris Weidman was seen by an average of four million viewers...
I am very nervous that Carlos Condit will win on Saturday night, and that I won't be able to fight Nick Diaz this summer. Carlos Condit is a very good fighter, he can strike, he is aggressive and he has submissions...
Georges St-Pierre is the only logical choice for Sonnen, since he's made it clear to the world at large that Anderson Silva wants nothing to do with him. And since everything that comes out of Chael's mouth when hyping a fight can be taken as gospel...
