4/1 UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site today:

-Dayne Fox previews the preliminary card for UFC Fight Night 63 today, breaking down the fights set for Saturday's morning broadcast. Excerpt on Lauren Murphy vs. Liz Carmouche: “Murphy is the former Invicta Champion, a fact that is lost on many fans. It's hard to find another bantamweight as similar to Carmouche as Murphy is; she's got solid takedowns, heavy top game, and stiff striking. The two things that separate Murphy the most from Carmouche is Carmouche's slight strength advantage and the extra dose of feisty Murphy brings to the cage. She took a beating from Sara McMann on the ground, but actually out-landed her from the bottom position by far. She is also an underrated athlete, and combined with her never-say-die attitude that makes her a very tough out for anyone.” Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for the full column.

-Frank Hyden looked at the good, bad, and ugly from last weekend's Bellator 135 and WSOF 19 events. Excerpt on Justin Gaethje: “Gaethje is really good, but he needs to work on his defense as he takes a lot of punishment. He delivers more than he takes, but you still have to be careful. Gaethje just completely brutalized Palomino with leg kicks, and attack that paid huge dividends later in the fight, as he started dropping Palomino with those kicks. It was hard to watch, and I was surprised the referee didn't step in to stop it earlier.” Full column on the mobile site.

-Ronda Rousey's appearance at Wrestlemania 31 was a one-off with the WWE, according to her agent, who says there's nothing additional planned for 2015 for her in pro wrestling. Get more thoughts on Rousey's potential future in the WWE on the mobile site.

-Head to the mobile site now for the final must-see episode of “UFC 189 World Tour Embedded,” which goes behind the scenes on the crazy final stop on the media tour in Dublin.

-Ryan Bader thinks he can stop Daniel Cormier at UFC Fight Night 68 in June, and expects to finish him in that fight in New Orleans. After that, he thinks a title opportunity would be next for him. Catch his comments with further analysis on the mobile site.

-There are several new fight bookings that came out today. Though an initial report had Brandon Thatch facing Jordan Mein at UFC 189, Thatch will face John Howard instead. Gunnar Nelson will also fight on that card, taking his first fight in the U.S. when he meets John Hathaway. In other fight news, Abel Trujillo is injured, and newcomer Shane Campbell is in against John Makdessi at UFC 186 this month. Finally, Albert Tumenov meets Hector Urbina at UFC 188 in Mexico City. Get more on all of those fights on the mobile site now.

-In our morning poll, we asked readers if they liked the early start time for Saturday's UFC Fight Night 63 event from Fairfax, Va. 39% think it's something the UFC should do a lot more often, and another 34% enjoy the occasional early event. Only 27% think the UFC should stick to nighttime events only.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
