-The California State Athletic Commission won't be pursuing any further action against Rousimar Palhares after he held another submission a bit too long on Saturday against Jon Fitch at WSOF 16. However, the commission's executive director, Andy Foster, was far from happy with Palhares, and said Palhares' history leaves him open to further scrutiny in these incidences. -Now that they don't have the Nevada commission asking them about it, both Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier say they'd handle their August brawl the same way were it to happen again. See their comments from Saturday's UFC on Fox 13 broadcast with further thoughts on the mobile site.

-Frank Mir is returning at UFC 184 in February, over a year after his last appearance in the Octagon. He said this past week that he considered retirement after the loss to Alistair Overeem, but didn't want to make any quick decisions during the year.
