-UFC on Fox 13 drew just 2.27 million viewers in the fast overnight ratings, up from the previous two events but down significantly from past December cards. -Joanna Jedrzejczyk more than likely gets a crack at Carla Esparza next for the UFC Women's Strawweight Title, as Dana White came away from UFC on Fox 13 quite impressed with her game after a close fight with Claudia Gadelha. -The UFC had a relatively modest payroll for Friday's Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale, with Charles Oliveira topping disclosed earnings at $52K, while new Champ Claudia Esparza earned $50K for her win. Get the full list of payouts on the mobile site now.

-Irish featherweight Conor McGregor, who has gotten his fair share of opportunities off of notoriety, commented on the UFC signing CM Punk to a contract. While he's not opposed to giving Punk a shot as an idea, he believes Punk seemed scared when talking about coming into MMA, as if he's not quite sure what he's gotten himself into. -In our morning poll, we asked readers for their take on Rousimar Palhares' kneebar over Jon Fitch at WSOF 16, and whether or not they felt he held it too long. 46% said it was absolutely too long, 35% said it was borderline, but certainly questionable given his history, while the remaining 19% felt there wasn't anything wrong with it.
