9/29 MORNING UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this morning:

-Dana White just doesn't know when to let things sell themselves, sometimes, as he had to go into overboard on Conor McGregor Saturday night. In true “Dana White hyperbole” fashion, White said that McGregor is the biggest force they've had in the UFC, bigger than Brock Lesnar and Georges St-Pierre. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for White's comments and further analysis.

-Speaking of people making head shaking comments, Anderson Silva continues to play around with the media from interview to interview. Just a few weeks after saying he had no desire to go after another title run again, Silva now says he won't stop fighting until he regains his belt. See his latest comments, with further thoughts on why it's impossible to know just what he's going to do.

-Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson topped the disclosed payroll at UFC 178, earning $183,000 for his win over Chris Cariaso. Conor McGregor came in just behind him, earning $150,000 for his victory over Dustin Poirier. Head to the mobile site for the full list of payouts.

-Louis Gaudinot has been forced out of Saturday's UFC Fight Night 54 event for undisclosed reasons, and the UFC is looking for a replacement to face Patrick Holohan on the card. More on that on the mobile site.

-In our morning poll today, we asked readers whether or not Conor McGregor should get the next UFC Featherweight Title fight after Chad Mendes. 61% believe the Frankie Edgar-Cub Swanson winner should be next, and that McGregor should fight again, while 39% are ready for him to get a shot right now.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
