...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!
9/15 EVENING UPDATE
If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this evening:
-Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Alistair Overeem have been engaging in some verbal back and forth in interviews and social media as of late, and Johnson's ready and willing to turn that into a physical confrontation if the UFC's interested. He explained today that he's willing to take that fight at a catchweight, and discussed his thoughts on Overeem's place in the heavyweight division as well. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com for further comments from Johnson with added analysis on the idea.
-Speaking of Overeem, the heavyweight on Monday talked about his loss to Ben Rothwell, and what he thinks went wrong at UFC Fight Night 50. Additionally, he's hoping to return as soon as possible. Catch his comments, with further analysis, on our mobile site.
-In another Overeem link, the last man he defeated, former Champ Frank Mir, is on the sidelines pondering what he's going to do next in his career. At this point, Mir says he's completely undecided as to whether to return to the UFC or not. More thoughts on that situation on the mobile site.
-Diego Sanchez is fighting Norman Parke in November at UFC 180 in Mexico City, and the matchup has come with some significant talk on Parke's part. Because of that, Sanchez contends that all the pressure is on Parke. See his comments on the matchup with further thoughts on the mobile site now.
-Finally on the mobile site, get numbers or last week's Bellator 124 event on Spike TV, which brought in a slightly larger viewership than the season 11 debut at Bellator 123.
We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
