Brock Lesnar is the single most gifted athlete to ever grace the heavyweight division in mixed martial arts. That's where you need to start when you look at what this inexperienced novice with a 2-1 professional record is doing in a championship fight already at this stage in his career. It doesn't matter that he's only faced off against two legit fighters. It doesn't matter that he's skipped ahead of some others that may be considered more deserving of this shot.
