Of the three women from TUF 18 who won on Saturday night, Raquel Pennington, Jessamyn Duke, and Julianna Pena, which do you think has the brightest future in the UFC and why?
FRANK HYDEN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I think Julianna Pena has the brightest future. She looked fantastic Saturday night. It was a great showing from here, it looked like she was head and shoulders above the rest. I think she's going to keep improving as well. I think it won't be long before she's fighting for the title.
BRAD WALKER, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
Jessamyn Duke is going to make an impact. If she doesn't I will wear a Christian Ponder jersey and literally say "Jay Cutler sucks." Anyway, Duke has a great background and fighting style that can elevate her to the upper echelon of the division and hopefully build a bright future for her in the UFC. I'm not too familiar with Pena or Pennington, but Pena does have some serious talent and the girl is violent as hell, so I will also be looking for her to climb the ladder.
CAMERON LYMAN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
I think it's pretty clear that Pena has the brightest future given her skill set and the amount of promotion she has bad so far. Still it's way too early to tell as TUF competition is not UFC competition.
ALVIN CARTER, MMATORCH SPECIALIST
Julianna Pena has the personality of a fighter and can respectfully talk smack. Her hunger and her personality will take her a long way. The fact that she is still developing is great as well. She is someone that I could see fighting Cris Cyborg... and would be excited for the opportunity.
KALE HAVERVOLD, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I think the answer is Julianna Pena, by a long shot. She was dominant in victory and also is not willing to back down on her comments that Ronda Rousey is a "spoiled rich brat." I could see this beef growing and Pena could potentially "Chael Sonnen" her way into a fight with Rousey with a couple of wins.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
