Who would you like to see Dan Henderson face next, and do you think there's a real chance he stays with Strikeforce instead of being moved to the UFC?

RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

There's part of me that wants to see Henderson retire on top.  There's part of me that wants to see Henderson fight any of the litany of UFC LHWs (Shogun, Machida, Rampage, Tito, you know the names).  But there's a larger part of me that wants to see Henderson say that he can live outside the Zuffa bubble and sign on the dotted line to face Alistair Overeem.  Henderson might be the best finisher in the sport right now, and I would be intrigued to see that fight more than any fight that Zuffa can offer him.

FRANK HYDEN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I don't think there's a chance in hell Henderson stays in Strikeforce. Why would Zuffa keep him there when they could make more money off having him fight in the UFC? As to who he should fight, I'd go with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson or Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. Although I guess the UFC could go with Henderson versus Jon Jones, I wouldn't give Henderson much of a chance in that fight.

JASON AMADI, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

If the UFC is going to dissolve the Strikeforce brand sooner rather than later, then it makes no sense to pluck Strikeforce’s biggest star from the organization just to plop him in the middle of the UFC's most top heavy division.

I think Henderson stays in Strikeforce and meets either Gegard Mousasi or Muhammed Lawal, should he get by Roger Gracie. Do either really deserve title fights in Strikeforce? That's a trick question, it's Strikeforce. No one deserves title fights in Strikeforce, they're simply handed out arbitrarily.

ERIC HOBAUGH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I am sure his days in Strikeforce are numbered. I think a super fight with Vitor Belfort would sell tickets and makes sense in the middleweight division. It has the potential to be an all time great fight. It would also help sort out the title picture for the UFC at 185.

GRIFFIN MARSH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I really don't think there's a "marquee" fight for Hendo right now.  I believe he's one of the best if not the best LHW in Strikeforce but yet believe he's no where near competing with Jon Jones nor Machida, Evans or Shogun for that matter.  To me Dan seems to be stuck as far as furthering his career/legacy.  I honestly see Hendo staying in Strikeforce, defending their title in that organization until he loses or Strikeforce gets completely engulfed by the UFC

MATT PELKEY, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

The only logical option left for him in Strikeforce at 205 is Gegard Mousasi. Sure he's yet to face King Mo, but Mo should probably not only fight, but win if he wants to get back in the title picture. In the end though, the UFC will likely "strike while the iron is hot" with Hendo and move him back to the Octagon where he can provide an intriguing match-up for Jon Jones (he's nearly impossible to knock out and we'd get to see how Jones reacts to getting hit with an H-bomb *sigh*).
