Chris Leben will return to action this December for the first time since last November, as the UFC's Australian Twitter account announced on Wednesday that Leben will take on Karlos Vemola at UFC 155 on Dec. 29.
Leben has been out of action all of 2012, serving a year-long suspension handed down by the UFC after testing positive for painkillers following his loss to Mark Munoz at UFC 138. It marked the second time Leben had been suspended by the UFC, with both coming out of fights in Birmingham, England.
He'll try to get back on the right track in the final UFC event of 2012, taking on Vemola, who hopes to win his third fight inside the Octagon. Vemola has alternated losses and wins inside the UFC, going 2-3 through five fights, and losing his most recent bout against Francis Carmont at UFC on Fuel 4 in July.
