Just a few months after earning a late submission win in his welterweight debut in June, Dan Miller will return to action this September at UFC 152, taking on Toronto native Sean Pierson on the card at the Air Canada Centre. The UFC announced the bout on Thursday.
Miller's submission win over Ricardo Funch snapped a two fight losing streak, and he hopes to start anew at 170 lbs. after ending his middleweight run with a 2-5 stretch.
Pierson also snapped a two-fight losing streak in his last bout, defeating Jake Hecht by decision at UFC on FX 3. The former Toronto police officer is now 2-2 in the UFC.
