More injuries are hitting UFC cards, as Edwin Figueroa is the latest to be taken out of a scheduled fight. UFC officials announced that he is out of the UFC on FX 4 event later this month, and will be replaced by Francisco Rivera in a bout against Ken Stone on the card.
Rivera made his return to the UFC just last month, defeating Alex Soto by decision at UFC on Fuel 3. He'll make a quick turnaround for this card, which takes place on June 22. Stone returns to action for the first time since last September, where he picked up his first UFC win with a submission over Donny Walker.
UFC on FX 4 takes place from Atlantic City, New Jersey, headlined by a lightweight bout between Clay Guida and Gray Maynard.
