Dennis Siver made a successful featherweight debut on Saturday in Sweden at UFC on Fuel 2, defeating Diego Nunes by decision.
Though he had to cut extra weight after the weigh-ins, Siver didn't look the worse for wear during the fight, and held his own through all 15 minutes of the fight. Both fighters were scoring in their striking game, leading to three fairly even rounds as neither really pulled far ahead at any point.
Ultimately, Siver provided more output overall, and the judges each rewarded him with two of the rounds in the bout.
The win was Siver's ninth inside of the Octagon. Nunes, meanwhile, has gone to decision in nine straight fights, with a 6-3 mark in that stretch and a 2-2 record inside the Octagon.
