The UFC has added another powerhouse featherweight to their roster, as Nova Uniao's Hacran Dias publicly signed a three-fight contract with the organization on Sensei SporTV.
The 27-year-old began his MMA career in 2005, and has posted a highly impressive 20-1-1 record throughout that time. He didn't suffer his first loss until his 14th professional fight, and since then he's racked up eight straight into this debut.
Dias follows in the footsteps of other prospects who have bypassed the Ultimate Fighter to come straight to the UFC. A teammate of UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, Dias was considered for the UFC's first season of the reality show in Brazil, but he will instead move right into the Octagon.
