June is going to be a packed month for the UFC, as they will run four straight weeks in the month. Previously, the Ultimate Fighter Live Finale had been announced for June 1, the UFC 147 pay-per-view event reported for June 16 in Brazil, and UFC on FX 4 revealed for June 22.
Now, the UFC on FX 3 event, talked about for June 8, has its first bout, as MMAJunkie.com reports that Mike Pierce will take on Carlos Eduardo Rocha on the card.
Pierce hopes to bounce back from a very close decision loss to Josh Koscheck at UFC 143 last month, while Rocha returns for the first time in 16 months. In his last bout, he dropped a decision to Jake Ellenberger, but he's been on the sidelines due to injury since then.
No venue or location has yet been revealed for the card, but it will indeed be one of three UFC events on FX in the month of June.
