Mike Kyle has been forced out of a March 3 bout with Gegard Mousasi in Strikeforce due to an undisclosed injury, according to multiple published reports.
The fight was scheduled for the main card of the event in Columbus, Ohio, headlined by the Women's Bantamweight Championship bout between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey, and would have likely put the winner into a fight for the vacant Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Championship.
Mousasi picked up his first win in Strikeforce since losing his title in 2010 when he defeated Ovince St-Preux by decision in December. That was his fourth win in five fights, with a draw against Keith Jardine rounding out that stretch.
Speculation is that Mousasi will be scratched from the card, though a replacement could still be found.
