Fresh off an impressive head kick knockout win over Dan Stittgen in his UFC debut last weekend at UFC 143, Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson already has his next fight lined up.
Thompson will square off against Matt "The Immortal" Brown at UFC 145 in Atlanta this April, the UFC revealed on Saturday afternoon.
The undefeated kickboxed moved to 6-0 on his career with the win over Stittgen, and will hope to keep that streak alive against a longtime veteran of the sport. Brown picked up a win on Saturday's UFC 143 card as well, knocking out Chris Cope in the second round. That win was just his second in his last six fights, bringing him over .500 in his UFC run at 6-5 in 11 fights in the Octagon.
UFC 145 takes place on April 21 from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, headlined by the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Jon Jones and Rashad Evans.
