Some familiar names were in action on Friday night at XFC 16 "High Stakes" on HDNet, as UFC and WEC vet Jamie Varner took on UFC vet Drew Fickett in the night's main event. It took Varner - who has had his share of struggles in the cage in recent years - just 40 seconds to cap off the night, knocking Fickett down early and following with a barrage of strikes that forced Fickett to tap. The win brought Varner to 3-1 since his release from Zuffa at the end of 2010. Full results for the event are below:
