Spike TV will counter-program another live UFC event next Wednesday, but this one is likely to be more effective. The UFC will air their first live event on Fuel TV on that day, a channel many UFC fans currently don't have access to, with a main event between Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez from Omaha, Neb.
Spike TV, meanwhile, announced on Tuesday that they'll run a five-hour UFC marathon, with Diego Sanchez bouts sprinkled in throughout the night.
First up will be a rebroadcast of The Ultimate Fighter season nine finale, which featured Sanchez's fantastic fight with Clay Guida. That begins at 7PM ET, and runs until 10PM ET, at which time two UFC Unleashed episodes will be up. The first episode contains Sanchez's UFC 121 bout with Paulo Thiago, while the second features his UFC 82 win over David Bielkheden.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
