Mike Easton edged past Jared Papazian on Friday night in Nashville, Tenn., earning his second straight UFC win at UFC on FX 1.
The fight was contested almost entirely on the feet, with Easton stalking throughout and both fighters delivering brutal combinations during the 15 minute contest. Papazian gave a good showing of himself, but Easton's aggression for the entirety of the fight won out, ultimately earning him a majority decision with scores of 29-28, 30-27, and 29-29.
The former UWC Bantamweight Champion is now 12-1 overall in his career, winning seven straight fights. Papazian has a three-fight win streak of his own halted, bringing him to 14-7 overall with one no contest.
