Milton Vieira, a ten year MMA veteran and inventor of the anaconda choke, is headed to the UFC, according to his management team at Alchemist Management. The longtime lightweight will drop to the featherweight division for his UFC debut sometime in 2012.
A one-time Pride vet, Vieira has spent much of his career between Japan and his home country of Brazil. He enters the UFC on a three-fight winning streak, most recently earning a first round submission over Sterling Ford on a Strikeforce Challengers card in August.
