Although the welterweight bout between Matt Riddle and Luis Ramos did not take place on Friday at UFC 141, both fighters received the entirety of what they were set to make on the card from the UFC.
According to a report from MMAJunkie.com, Riddle and Ramos each received both their "show" and their "win" money, despite not stepping into the cage. The fight was called off at the last minute as Riddle fell ill and was unable to compete, but with both fighters making weight on Friday the UFC still compensated them for their efforts.
Riddle made $30,000, while Ramos earned $12,000, as per their respective contracts.
