Two welterweights will be out to keep themselves alive in the UFC at UFC 143 this February, as the UFC announced on Friday that Matt Brown and Chris Cope will square off on the card.
Brown has lost four of his last five fights, most recently getting submitted by Seth Baczynski at UFC 139 in November.
Cope did win his first fight in the UFC, though it was in a lackluster fight against Chuck O'Neill. In his second appearance, he was stopped by newcomer Che Mills in just 40 seconds.
With those decisive losses for each - and in Brown's case a continued string of poor showings - the loser of this fight is likely on their way out of the UFC.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
