Erick Silva has a new opponent for UFC 142 in Brazil next month, as Carlo Prater will make his UFC debut in place of the injured Siyar Bahadurzada.
Bahadurzada's removal was announced this afternoon, and Prater's addition to the card was revealed by the UFC's Brazilian Twitter account.
Prater is a veteran of 40 fights over a nine-year career, and enters off a four-fight winning streak, earning all four of those wins by submission. He fought twice in the Zuffa-owned WEC, losing to Carlos Condit and Brock Larson.
Silva hopes to make it 2-0 inside the Octagon after scoring a 40 second knockout in his debut in August over Luis Ramos.
