Featherweight Diego Brandao entered Saturday's Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale with a dream of making it big in the UFC, eying a six-figure contract and the chance to provide for his family in Brazil. He left Saturday night with that six-figure contract, but added $80,000 in bonuses as well.
Brandao earned the "Submission of the Night" for his first round armbar over Dennis Bermudez in a thrilling bout in the TUF 14 Featherweight Finals. The incredible back and forth fight also earned the "Fight of the Night," with each bonus going for $40,000.
The bonuses went all to TUF 14 finalists as well, with John Dodson taking the "Knockout of the Night" award with his first round blitz against T.J. Dillashaw.
