In what could be a fight for their roster spots in the UFC, Tatame.com reports that Matt Riddle and Luis Ramos will square off at UFC 141 on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas.
Ramos made his UFC debut in his home country of Brazil at UFC 134 in August, but was knocked out by Erick Silva in just 40 seconds. Riddle, meanwhile, lost his second straight fight in 2011 at UFC Fight Night 25 in September, dropping a decision to UFC newcomer Lance Benoist.
Because Ramos lost in such quick and devastating fashion, a loss to Riddle could be it for him in the UFC. Conversely, a third straight loss for Riddle very likely could lead to him needing to continue his fighting career outside of the UFC for the first time.
