After a three-fight winless stretch in the UFC's lightweight division, Charles Oliveira is moving down to featherweight and hopes to return before the end of the year, according to a report from MMAJunkie.com.
Oliveira won his first two fights in the UFC in impressive fashion before suffering his first career loss to Jim Miller last December. In his return this summer, he submitted Nik Lentz at UFC on Versus 4, but set up the submission with an illegal knee to the head for which the referee did not halt the action. Because of that, the result was changed to a no contest. He then suffered a first round knockout loss to Donald Cerrone in a short notice fight in August.
