Although Carlos Condit is waiting for Georges St-Pierre to heal up from a knee injury instead of staying on the UFC 137 card, he could have had one high level opponent on a week's notice if the UFC decided to go that route.
Much like he did at UFC 135, Josh Koscheck offered to step in for an injured fighter again, but the UFC had already decided to keep Condit out of the event to face St-Pierre when he's able to return.
Here was the Twitter exchange between Koscheck and UFC President Dana White:
Koscheck - Hey @danawhite :) duty calls again???
White - gotta respect Kos offering to fight Condit on a week notice. I respect the shit outta u Josh! He's waitin 4 GSP tho
