...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!
With two fights between them in the books, Saturday's UFC 136 main event between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard could potentially have them completely even against one another. An Edgar win in any fashion would put the series at 1-1-1. UFC President Dana White was at Wednesday's pre-fight press conference for the event what would happen if the result of the fight was close decision by Edgar to even things up, and he made it clear that regardless of the outcome, the lightweight division is moving on after this fight.
"Nothing sucks worse than a draw, I hate it," White said of the result of their UFC 125 bout. [This rematch is] finally here, we can get this behind us and get things going in this 155 lb. division."
"[If Edgar edges a decision we'll] put it behind us. This division is stacked. There's a lot of fights to be made. This draw has been a log jam in the division."
