After almost two years outside of the UFC, Josh Neer made a successful return on Saturday night at UFC on Versus 6, earning a doctor's stoppage victory over Keith Wisniewski due to cuts after the conclusion of the second round.
Neer utilized standing short elbows in the clinch to open up numerous cuts on Wisniewski, along with winning the striking attack with an aggressive attack and a higher overall output. At the end of the second round, he locked on a standing guillotine that had Wisniewski's face pouring blood, and caused the doctor's to call a halt to the fight.
The win was Neer's fifth straight, and fifth UFC win in eleven appearances. Wisniewski had his six fight winning streak snapped with the loss.
