T.J. Waldburger put on a highly impressive performance on Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 25 "Battle on the Bayou," locking on a triangle choke out of an armbar attempt at 3:52 of the first round of his bout with Mike Stumpf.
Waldburger started things off in exciting fashion. hopping on Stumpf's back after turning him around with a leg kick. From there, it was Waldburger attacking for submissions and looking to dominate the position of the fight.
Stumpf managed to get back into the fight after avoiding the early work from Waldburger, but when Waldburger got on top and grabbed for an armbar, Stumpf's attempted defense left him open to the triangle. Waldburger transitioned nicely and forced the tap for his second UFC win.
