Betting lines opened up on Wednesday for the newly made fight between Josh Koscheck and Matt Hughes at UFC 135 this month, and though he's taking the fight on under three week's notice, Koscheck has opened as a heavy favorite.
Bodog.com's betting lines have Koscheck as a -340 favorite, with Hughes starting out as a +260 underdog. For fans unfamiliar with how betting lines work, that means a $100 bet on Hughes would pay out $260 in profit, while a bet of $340 on Koscheck would bring $100 profit.
The fight was put together after Diego Sanchez pulled out of the fight with Hughes with a broken hand, and takes place as the co-main event of UFC 135, which comes to Denver's Pepsi Center on Sept. 24.
