...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!

Sorry for the delay in getting this weekend's results in; a little place called Monaco, mixed with sun and beer, took priority. Now I'm back and finally able to put you all out of your misery, as I know you've all been on tenterhooks waiting for the results.
With the cancellation of the bout between Rose Namajunas and Nina Ansaroff, all points placed on either fighter were amended to 1 point, whilst any money placed on either fighter that wasn't amended in time has been returned.
Without further ado, let's see how you all got on, along with the Semi-Final World Cup results.

CONFIDENCE GAME RESULTS
Dan 'Tucky' Moore (59 points) beat Lisa Smith (49 points) to become the new MMATorch Confidence Picks Champion.
Lisa got off to a terrible start to the night, seeing both Josh Sampo and Leo Kuntz lose their bouts, and wasn't ever able to fully recover from this. The old silver fox Moore, on the other hand, got off to a flier, predicting both winning fighters, and cleverly placing his wild card on Makhachev. That move gave him a 15 point head start after only two fights, leaving an uphill battle for Lisa from which she couldn't recover.
Great work Dan!
Next up for Dan Moore will be none other the me! That's right, you read that correctly, Gumbo has pulled it out of the bag for once, and will get the title shot he probably doesn't deserve. Scoring 68 points and correctly predicting 9 out of the 11 fights, it narrowed down to points placed on Uriah Hall and Travis Browne. Luckily for me the points placed on both fighters wasn't crippling, and was just enough to top the pool and earn a title shot.
Three players came within touching distance of making it to a five way tie, Dave Hughes, Mac Kinder, Scott Pipher and Richard Race all scored 67 points with the use of the joker card. Daniel Clark scored 65 points, and if he'd used the joker card available to him there's little doubt he'd have topped the pool.
Here are the results of the Confidence Picks pool:
68- Tommy 'Gumbo' Strong
67- Scott Pipher
67- Mac Kinder
67- Richard Race
67- Dave Hughes
65- Daniel Clark
64- Kevin Seng
63- Charlie Hastings
63- David Lindahn
63- Brian Foe
62- Jaymon10002
62- Mark Sacchetti
62- Jason Poirier
60- james 'Browny' Brown
60- Alex Potapoff
59- Daniel 'Tucky' Moore
57- Sean Simpson
56- Lawrence Dew
54- David Little
54- John Lewish
53- Eugene Kim

51- Joel Wielenga
51- Anthony Sinnott
50- Sam Martin
49- Dominic Marchionna
49- James Lowton

Note: Should either champion, or challenger fail to submit picks for UFC 188 (Velasquez vs. Werdum) Scott Pipher (count back) would step up as a challenger, and so on. Everyone else will be fighting for the No 1 contender slot on the night, and the right to face off against either Dan or Tommy at UFC 189.
BETTING GAME RESULTS
Mac Kinder ($1401.46) beats David Lindahn ($274.07) to the first player for months who's been able to hold on the MMA Torch Betting title longer than one event! Mac, like a true champion, played it conservative in the betting game and saw all of his bets returning a profit, blowing David Lindahn out of the water. David went big, putting all his eggs into one basket by placing $500 on Anthony Johnson, unfortunately with Johnson losing it ended any hope he had of becoming the new champion.
Mac Kinder is starting to prove time and time again it's going to take something special to snatch the belt away from him, well done mate.
Mac Kinder: $1401.46
$500 on Makhachev for $656.25
$250 on Dodson for $303.19
$50 on Cerrrone for $60
$200 Parlay on Makhachev, Dodson and Cerrone for $382.02
David Lindahn $274.07
$200 on Covington for $274.07
Up next to challenge Mac Kinder will be...............Tommy 'Gumbo' Strong, lightning strikes twice it would seem. While I didn't have a great night, and didn't return a massive profit, the $1926.32 that I did return was just enough to top the pool; coming close second was Jason Poirier, who returned $1843.28.
And yes, I'm patting myself on the back as you read this!

Well done Jaymon10002 and Jason the final will be held at UFC 189, Good luck!
Performer of the Night: As you all know being modest really isn't my style, though I shall take the nomination for myself this week for topping both pools, even if it was more luck than judgment!
GOAT: Anyone who scored under 50 points.
Thanks to everyone for taking part playing in the game, it's also great seeing old returning players and new ones joining each event.
