Unlike Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz this weekend, both our main event title match-ups were eagerly contested and closely fought affairs. With only two underdogs victorious this weekend (Roop and Makdessi), it is of little surprise that the betting game didn't produce too many big returns. Without further ado, let's take a look at how you all did:

CONFIDENCE GAME RESULTS
Nick Williams (66 points) beat Lee Hopwood (61 points) to retain his title as MMA Torch Confidence Picks Champion. Another title defense is in the bag for the champion with a significantly improved performance this weekend. Nick dropped points on Cruickshank, Ring and Condit, whilst challenger Lee lost his points backing Duran, Cruickshank, Ring and Marquardt, therefore just missing out on causing the upset.
Next up for the reigning champion is Chris Wallner who finished with a very impressive 75 points. Former champion, Chris, is back on form and only dropped 3 points (Voelker) all night to fend off some other excellent scores. 14 competitors lost 10 points or less this weekend and it was by far the best collective performance we have witnessed in a long time.
Here are the results of the Confidence Picks pool:

BETTING GAME RESULTS
Jimbo Slice is the new MMA Torch Betting Champion after a close fought battle with Shaun Louis this weekend. Both lost money backing Carlos Condit so it all came down to one single winning bet and a parlay each. Jimbo's backing of Roop and Elkins (In Parlay) gave him the slight edge over Shaun who backed Camozzi and Ricci (In parlay).
Shaun Louis: $1071.94
$300 on Camozzi for $594.12
$200 parlay on Story, Mein and Ricci for $477.82
Jimbo Slice: $1112.02
$300 on Roop for $618
$200 parlay on Story, Mein and Elkins for $494.02
Next up for the new champion is long time player Kevin Seng who came away from UFC 158 with the tidy sum of $2477.04 which included an excellent parlay on underdog Roop, Cote and Camozzi. A lot of you bet a parlay on St-Pierre, Story and Dillashaw and it's worth me highlighting that, at those huge favorite odds, it was never going to earn you a title shot. Think outside the box and keep your fingers crossed if you want to win the pool.
Here (in no particular order) are the results of the Betting Picks pool:
Kevin Seng: $2477.04
$400 on Roop for $824

RECAP
MMA Torch Confidence Picks Championship Match Up (UFC on FUEL 9)
Nick Williams (Champion) vs. Chris Wallner (Challenger)
MMA Torch Betting Picks Championship Match Up (UFC on FUEL 9)
Jimbo Slice (Champion) vs. Kevin Seng (Challenger)
Performer of the Night: It's hard to look past Kevin Seng this weekend. He only dropped five points in the confidence picks game and romped home in the betting game to earn a title shot. Nick Williams, Jimbo Slice and Chris Wallner were also great performers, but Kevin just edged it for me. Well done, Sir.
Goat of the Night: If you laid a goose egg in the betting after a night of only two upset losses then this one is for you!
We're back for UFC on FUEL 9 early next month when i'll be in Stockholm, Sweden covering the event live for MMA Torch.
