"Right now I don't have any fights lined up, but I actually reached out to Dana [White] and Lorenzo [Fertitta] and let them know that I would love to fight in the UFC, so we'll see. I had a Strikeforce contract and I was loyal to them and Scott Coker because we've been friends for so long, but now that everything's under one umbrella, it will be an honor to fight for the UFC. As soon as I found out that Cain [Velasquez] is fighting in San Jose [Calif. at UFC 139] in November, I would definitely be open to being on that card. I think that would be pretty cool."
-Cung Le talks to MMAWeekly.com about wanting to enter the UFC when they come to his home base in San Jose, Calif.
Penick's Analysis: Le said in another interview he'd be interested in facing Chris Leben on the card, but Leben has since been booked against Mark Munoz for the UFC 138 card earlier in the month. As for Le in the UFC in general, if the UFC wants him in the Octagon he'd be a fun addition to any card against a number of opponents. Because of his inactivity with his acting career he hasn't been able to establish himself as a top fighter at middleweight, but he's a lot of fun to watch when he's in the cage and has the striking skills to be dangerous against a lot of opponents. If the UFC brought him in for the UFC 139 card at the HP Pavilion it would absolutely be a welcome move.
