UFC light heavyweight Luiz Cane snapped a two fight losing streak in March when he took out Eliot Marshall at UFC 128 in New Jersey. That win kept him from losing his spot on the roster with a third straight loss.
Now he'll get to fight in his home country of Brazil in August, as the UFC announced that he'll meet newcomer Stanislav Nedkov at UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro.
The Bulgarian Nedkov makes his UFC debut with a perfect 11-0 record. The five year veteran of the sport holds wins over former UFC Champ Kevin Randleman as well as two-time UFC vet Travis Wiuff, but he has not been in action since May of 2010.
UFC 134 marks the UFC's return to Brazil for the first time since 1998, and the card will be headlined by a Middleweight Championship bout between Anderson Silva and Yushin Okami.
