The final UFC pay-per-view event of the year may not have a "Prelims Live" special on Spike TV, but the UFC is still offering two free preliminary card bouts for this Saturday's UFC 124 from the Bell Centre in Montreal.

The hour long slot wasn't available on Spike TV Saturday night due to the airing of the 2010 Spike TV Video Game Awards.

The lightweight bout between Dustin Hazelett and Mark Bocek and the middleweight bout between Joe Doerksen and Dan Miller will both be available live and free at UFC.com on Saturday night beginning at 9PM ET.

Hazelett is heading back to the lightweight division after consecutive losses at welterweight in 2010. After a lengthy injury layoff, Hazelett suffered a knockout loss to Paul Daley in January, and then was defeated by Rick Story by TKO in August.

Bocek hasn't fought since March, where he lost a toughly contested decision to Jim Miller. He had been on a three fight win streak prior to that bout, winning all three of those fights by rear naked choke.

Doerksen had a seven fight winning streak snapped at UFC 119 when he was submitted by C.B. Dollaway. Miller, on the other hand, picked up his first win in four fights at UFC 118 in August when he defeated John Salter by submission.

Penick's Analysis: Free fights are always welcome, even if it's only online. Still, for those that really want to see these fights, this is great that they'll be available in some form if they don't make the broadcast, and both could definitely be entertaining fights. Hopefully the UFC and Spike announce a new deal for the "Prelims Live" specials for 2011 soon to get those up and running for the next set of events too.
