"I actually laughed [when Carlos Condit called me out]. I actually thought it was quite funny. I just think I'm a terrible matchup for him. What he's got in toughness, I've got tenfold. What he's got in punching power, I've got tenfold. There's no way he can outgrit me, or outwork me in this fight... I knew him watching him on the WEC and I thought he seems like an intelligent guy and he's up for a fight. But after him calling me out, I'm changing my opinion of him. I'm starting to think he might have some kind of brain disability, maybe... To call and position himself in front of me right now when I'm feeling like this, and as determined and angry as I am. It's probably the [stupidest] thing he's ever done in his life."
-Dan Hardy talks to Ariel Helwani at MMAFighting.com about being called out by Carlos Condit. The two will meet at UFC 120 in London on October 16.
Penick's Analysis: Well, this sounds like Hardy being Hardy, but he better not be taking Condit lightly coming into this fight. It doesn't matter if it's in his back yard, Hardy does not have skills tenfold over Condit, and this is going to be an extremely competitive fight. He'll be the favorite coming in, but it will be close. This should be a very good and entertaining fight for the UK fans and the U.S. audience on Spike TV.
