The UFC continues to fill out their return event to Germany this November, as MMAWeekly.com reports that a middleweight bout between Rob Kimmons and TUF 11 competitor Kyle Noke is heading to the UFC 122 event.
Noke was defeated by teammate and eventual finalist Kris McCray during the tournament on TUF 11, but returned at the finale event to defeat semifinalist Josh Bryant by TKO. He had been a favorite to win the tournament, coming in with over 20 career fights. His record now stands at 17-4-1.
Kimmons is a five fight UFC veteran with a 3-2 record overall in the Octagon. His most recent fight saw him earn a unanimous decision over Steve Steinbess in August. All five of his career losses have come at the hands of UFC veterans, as he's fallen to Jorge Rivera, Dan Miller, Marvin Eastman, Ryan Jensen and Joe Riggs. The latter three fights all happened outside of the organization.
UFC 122 is expected to take place November 13 at Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, and will air via tape delay in the U.S. on Spike TV. The event will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Vitor Belfort and Yushin Okami.
Penick's Analysis: This is a solid middleweight matchup for the undercard here in Germany. Noke had the credentials coming into The Ultimate Fighter, but he didn't get the job done there. But by winning his fight on the finale card, he got his entrance into the UFC anyway. A win over an established vet like Kimmons would be a big next step for Noke in the eyes of UFC officials.

"There's still a large contingent of people, that they just want to see these guys almost die, or the other guy almost die and come back, and sometimes fights are like that. Certainly they are. But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...

"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
