"I have a different perspective on everything. I know what I have to do, and I am sure Shane Carwin knows I am uniquely capable of doing it...

I'm sure Shane Carwin has done everything he can to prepare for this fight. I know I am very satisfied with how my training camp went. I've envisioned this fight over and over in my head. Each time I see it playing out, my hand is up in the air. It's just the way it's going to be. No knock on Shane. I'm sure he's bringing his A-Game against me. Good for him. He better... because I just don't see any man being able to take this championship away from me...

Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin are both walking into the Octagon wearing title belts. Mine is real. His is not. One man is walking out with nothing. One man is walking out the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the UFC. That's me. That's who I am. It's what I do, it's what I do best, it's what I do better than any man in the world today. I don't care what anyone says about Shane Carwin, I'm going to have a really big appetite on July 3rd, and Shane Carwin is going to be my dinner."

-Brock Lesnar comments on his fight with Shane Carwin next Saturday at UFC 116 to longtime friend Paul Heyman on his "Heyman Hustle" blog.

Penick's Analysis: Heyman also details what he has seen first hand with the change in demeanor of Lesnar, saying there's an "eery calmness" to him and that there's a dramatic shift in his mindset approaching the fight. He's clearly confident heading into this fight with Carwin, and it's going to be his biggest test. This is a guy in Carwin who will test his chin, who is similar in size and strength and has a wrestling base himself. He'll test Lesnar to his limit, and only one of the behemoth heavyweights will emerge as the Champion. It's going to be great to watch.
