The following are key excerpts from Rich Franklin at the UFC 115 post fight press conference:
-"I was happy that the fight was over because of my broken arm. Chuck and I are friends so it is a bittersweet victory; I hate to think of me as the guy that put him out of the UFC."
-"It was a high kick around two minutes in that broke my arm. He follows up big when he thinks he has you rocked so I had to weather through the storms, but he also opens up a lot and that is how I caught him. I was not hurt when he rushed in, but he thought that I was more hurt than what I was."
-"I believe that if I and Chuck do this 100 times there might be a different outcome every time."
-"I really did not think that my back was against the wall and I needed a win, I just take each fight at a time."
