Shaq-Fu fans everywhere rejoice, as NBA super star Shaquille O'Neil is an unlockable character in UFC Undisputed 2010, set to be released tomorrow.
The news was revealed by MiddleEasy.com today, and they even revealed how to unlock the character in the game. For those purchasing the game tonight or tomorrow for the Xbox 360 or PS3, here's how you can play as Shaq:
Xbox 360: At the main menu, press - down, up, left, down, down, left, up, down, down, left, x, y, y, x
PS3: At the main menu, press - down, up, left, down, down, left, up, down, down, left, square, triangle, triangle, square, start
Penick's Analysis: This is 100% legit and there are already screen shots of him in the game, and of the game guide showing him as an unlockable character floating around the internet. Shaq is a longtime UFC fan and is shown in the crowd at many events, and has joked in the past about getting into MMA himself. This is one of those "only in video games" type things, along with having the TapouT guys as characters that, while not at all representative of the sport or the UFC, makes for a funny an interesting side track from the game itself. It's like all of the different people that could be unlocked for NBA Jam back in the Sega Genesis days, it's simply a fun diversion.
