All the man does is make bonus money. Chris Lytle earned his seventh "Fight Night" bonus in his last nine UFC fights on Saturday night by pulling off a beautiful kneebar on Brian Foster in the first round to earn the UFC 110 "Submission of the Night." It was also his first submission victory since August of 2007.
The other bonus earners for the event were main eventer Cain Velasquez and main card fighters Joe Stevenson and George Sotiropolous. The honors earned each of the men an extra $50,000.
Velasquez earned the "Knockout of the Night" with his first round schooling of the legendary Antonio Rodrigo Minotauro Nogueira. His hands were too fast and he proved all the doubters of his power wrong by blasting Nogueira with a right and following up with five quick strikes on the ground to end it. The 27 year old has pushed himself right into the Heavyweight Title picture after his most impressive victory, coming in the biggest fight of his career to date.
George Sotiropolous earned the decision, but Joe Stevenson shared in the money as their three round bout earned the event's "Fight of the Night" honors. Backed by a rabid Australian crowd heavily behind their hometown fighter in Sotiropolous, the fight was a blast to watch from start to finish. The question into the fight was if Sotiropolous could handle the leap in competition, and not only did he do just that, he dominated much of the action from the outset. On the ground and on the feet Sotiropolous was the better fighter, and sent all of his Aussie friends, family and fans home happy from the UFC's highly successful debut trip down under.

"There's still a large contingent of people, that they just want to see these guys almost die, or the other guy almost die and come back, and sometimes fights are like that. Certainly they are. But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...

"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
