Jul 12, 2009 - 11:18:06 AM By James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor After defeating Frank Mir at last night's UFC 100 card, Brock Lesnar opened his press conference by apologizing for his post-fight antics that seemed like a scene out of a WWE event.
"I've been in the entertainment business for a while and I guess there's a little bit still in me," Lesnar said. "You guys ask me all the time, 'Is there anything I can drag over from WWE?' I guess you've seen a little bit of it tonight."
Lesnar then apologized to Bud Light, which he ripped in his post-fight promo for not paying him enough money. (Bud Light was an official sponsor of UFC 100.)
Lesnar also said UFC president Dana White pulled him aside after the fight and shared a few harsh words on behaving like a professional, not a complete fool.
"Man, I was so jacked up. I'm used to selling PPV tickets. I come from a business that is purely entertainment," Lesnar said. "Dana came back and we had a 'whip the dog' session and I screwed up and I apologized."
Lesnar seemed sincere as he talked about wanting to be a fighter and wanting to be considered a legit fighter. He said he had nothing against Mir, who talked a lot of crap about wrestling and Lesnar pre-fight, other than he beat him the first time they fought at UFC 81.

The headlining bout between Phil Davis and Rashad Evans averaged 6.1 million viewers, meaning the peak number for the event will still come in somewhat higher than that. The opening bout between Demian Maia and Chris Weidman was seen by an average of four million viewers...
I am very nervous that Carlos Condit will win on Saturday night, and that I won't be able to fight Nick Diaz this summer. Carlos Condit is a very good fighter, he can strike, he is aggressive and he has submissions...
Georges St-Pierre is the only logical choice for Sonnen, since he's made it clear to the world at large that Anderson Silva wants nothing to do with him. And since everything that comes out of Chael's mouth when hyping a fight can be taken as gospel...
