"Of course, Dana, it's fake everybody knows that but you're promoting the same thing we're promoting. Dana White is promoting fights - we're promoting fights. It just so happens that we get a little more longevity out of our fight and out of our fighters because of the circumstances. It is a staged arena. Everybody knows that. Dana, probably in his defense, is promoting fighting but it's the same thing. He's trying to sell pay-per-views, he's trying to sell money fights. It's the same racket... The business model's the same, it's identical. I think Vince McMahon's better at it than Dana and that might rub Dana the wrong way."

-Brock Lesnar reacts to Dana White's recent comments putting down wrestling as fake during a pre-SummerSlam appearance on ESPN's Sportscenter Tuesday morning (transcribed by FoxSports.com).

Penick's Analysis: The UFC has certainly been great on occasion in promoting their biggest and best. At times they've failed to take advantage as well as they could have. In some respects, given the longevity and heights to which the WWE's risen over the last several decades, McMahon's obviously been a better promoter. At the same time, there are some things the UFC has done to make them a much more intriguing pay-per-view prospect in the best of times. Still, it's easy to imagine that White's response will simply be to write off Lesnar's run, denigrate him for losing and leaving the sport, and say his opinion doesn't matter.
