A bantamweight fight between Hawaii's Russell Doane and Jerrod Sanders is set for UFC 189 in July, according to a report from the Honolulu Star Advertiser.
Doane returns to action for the first time since a decision loss to Iuri Alcantara last September. That snapped a three fight winning streak, which included wins in his first two fights in the UFC in 2014.
Sanders got his shot in the UFC last summer after scoring 12 straight wins in multiple organizations. Unfortunately, he's on his last legs after getting finished by both Yosdenis Cedeno and Pedro Munhoz.
UFC 189 hits Las Vegas on July 11, headlined by the UFC Featherweight Championship fight between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.
