A new fight has been added to the UFC on Fox 16 event in Chicago this summer, as Gian Villante will take on Tom Lawlor.
The fight was announced on Thursday's episode of UFC Tonight on Fox Sports 1.
Lawlor finally returns to action for the first time since April of 2013. He was supposed to make a return to the light heavyweight division last summer, only to suffer another in a series of injuries that has kept him out much longer.
The always entertaining competitor has spent his off time dabbling in pro wrestling, and will return for just his tenth fight since entering the organization in 2008.
Villante will try to keep his current streak alive, having won his last two fights in the organization. The most recent came earlier this month, as he stopped TUF winner Corey Anderson by TKO in the third round at UFC on Fox 15.
UFC on Fox 16 comes to the United Center on July 25, headlined by a Bantamweight Championship fight between T.J. Dillashaw and Renan Barao.
