Khabib Nurmagomedov made a lot of comments about Anthony Pettis both when the former Champ was hurt and into and out of his loss to Rafael dos Anjos. When Nurmagomedov ultimately pulled out of his UFC 187 matchup with Donald Cerrone due to injury - the second time he's done so - Pettis naturally felt the urge to take a swipe back.
@TeamKhabib karma is a bitch hope that disability pays well!!!
Penick's Analysis: If Pettis beats Myles Jury at UFC on Fox 16, and if Cerrone simply gets a fight with Rafael dos Anjos as I suspect may happen, Pettis-Nurmagomedov could be a big fight for the UFC. Pettis needs to reestablish himself as a deserving contender, and beating more than just Myles Jury will need to be in order. He can get two things out of the way on that end in a fight with Nurmagomedov, and I'd expect it to happen eventually.
