There's been another late change to this month's UFC 186 card in Montreal, as lightweight Abel Trujillo is out of a fight with John Makdessi after suffering a broken arm in training.
According to a report from MMAJunkie.com, Trujillo's injury has opened the door for 11-2 newcomer Shane Campbell, who is stepping in on a few week's notice for the bout. It's a latest in a series of injuries for Trujillo during his UFC run, as he's had to pull out of several scheduled bouts over the past several years.
Regardless, Montreal's own Makdessi will remain on the card, and will try to bounce back from a loss to Alan Patrick in his last appearance in February of 2014. The 29-year-old has gone 5-3 in eight fights over his four-year UFC run.
Campbell makes his UFC debut with wins in seven of his last eight bouts. The Canadian competitor most recently stopped Derek Boyle in the third round of a bout at WSOF 18.
UFC 186 hits pay-per-view from the Bell Centre on April 25, headlined by the Flyweight Title bout between Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi.
