"Ultimate Fighter: Latin America" winner Alejandro "Diablito" Perez will make his first UFC appearance since winning the bantamweight tournament from his season when he takes on Patrick Williams at UFC 188 in Mexico City.
The UFC announced the bout on Thursday, which is likely to take place on the preliminary card.
Perez, a Mexican bantamweight who fought on Cain Velasquez's team during last year's first ever "Latin America" season, defeated Fredy Serrano and Guido Canneti during filming of the show to get to the finals at UFC 180. On that card, he defeated José Quiñonez by decision for the tournament win.
He'll now meet Williams, who hopes to make a better second impression in the UFC. The 34-year-old made his debut 11 months ago at UFC 172, getting knocked out with a flying knee from Chris Beal.
UFC 188 will be headlined by a Heavyweight Title unification bout between Perez's "TUF: Latin America" coach Cain Velasquez and Interim Champ Fabricio Werdum.
